The tortilla contains several nutrients that are very beneficial for your health, it is so rich in calcium that in many regions of the country it is considered the basic food of your diet, everything can be missing, except the tortilla.

1. Corn, the basic component of the tortilla, is a cereal rich in fiber, in fact it is the one that contains the most, which is why it will help your digestion, reduce bad cholesterol in your veins and improve circulation.

2. Due to its nutritional properties (carbohydrates, vitamins A, B and C, fibers, potassium, calcium, phosphorus and proteins) it is recommended for high-performance athletes, the elderly, children and pregnant women.

3. It has been proven that in regions where tortilla consumption is high, fewer bone-related conditions and rickets are reported.


4. In our country, over time, the nutritional value of tortillas has been enriched through the improvement of corn.

5. It was recently found that corn has several compounds that prevent the oxidation of cells, that is, it inhibits the appearance of cancer.
